A genuine little yacht designed by Uffa Fox, Isle of Wight. She has beent externally refurbished in 2018 now for sale as purchased a larger vessel. Believed to have been built c.1982. Originally sold as a 4 berth Cruising Yacht but realistically sleeps 2 in comfort. Roller reefing / furling on both head sail and main ( 2 main sails). Gudgeon, a Classic from 1920, was lengthened by 5ft adding a counter stern to her in 2011. A lovely yacht is to be sold, her owner needs a quick sale. She represents a rare opportunity to acquire a classic yacht at a ridiculously low asking price. She does require a serious refit and cosmetic overhaul. So much time and money has been put into her but the continuous maintenance has been neglected, she has not even been under cover for the Winter.... She has been unused and neglected for a considerable length of time. Designed by Alfred Mylne and built by the Wessex Motor and Sailing Boat Co.... read more

Bought in 1965, as a bare hull, fitted out with the new deck and coachroof , new engine, rig and interior fit out, she was then used as a live aboard for many years and as a family yacht, cruising the east coast and taking part in the traditional regattas. She makes a very practical home afloat, Lifeboat vessels like this are unusual in their shape and the conversion has been done in a clever way in order to maximise the internal space. She has an enormous deep and safe cockpit. The deck space is very generous despite the large coach roof, Inside there up to 7 berths. The sailing... read more
