Dehler 39 CWS 1989 fractional rigged, fin keeled sloop, was designed by E. G. Van de Stadt and built in Germany by Dehler Yachts. The Dehler 39 CWS is a light sailboat with good performance. She is rewarding to helm, easily balanced under sail and very directionally stable, capable of steering herself for prolonged periods
This is a well maintained example of this fast cruiser/racer with a large amount of upgrade work by current owners over recent years.

8 berths. 2 in v-shaped forepeak, 2 in saloon and 2 x double quarter berths. Both quarter berths have ensuite heads, stowable large sinks with hot and cold water and a shower in port side berth. Quarter berths have seat and hanging wardrobe outboard, with cupboard inboard and overhead lockers. V-berth has very large stowage area underneath, and lockers above and at bow.
Saloon area has large v-shaped table, which has fold over extensions running down both sides. Table completely removable for easy access all round to engine. Table can seat 10 with extra seat which fits across fore-peak door. Seats on both sides convert into wide berths. Ample stowage space below seating and in overhead lockers, and shelves behind seats.
Galley area has additional worksurface which can be folded away whilst at sea. Electric fridge, double sink with hot and cold water. 3 ring gas cooker with oven and grill (2020). Cupboard under sink and ample stowage overhead.

4x 12v batteries (replaced 2020) charged by engine, smart charger and Merlin Superwind wind generator. Lewmar Lofrans electric windlass. All lines lead aft into cockpit to Lewmar electric self-tailing winch. 4 x Lewmar winches all are self-tailing. Eberspacher cabin heater. Hot water system.

Selden rod kicker 2021. Majority running rigging replaced 2023. Mast removed, rigging checked, and new masthead, running, and deck LED lights fitted, all new Dyneema halyards and internal wiring replaced (2022).
As new mainsail Contender CDX Pro radial cut (2020). Selden twin foil furlex with Owen furling genoa. Full hank on sail wardrobe No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4, storm jib, 2 spinnakers, all in very good condition, Owen Sails cruising chute as new condition with snuffer.
