The boat has spent a lot of the past 20 years in dry storage. I then got the boat re-decked in 2017 by Steve Parker boatbuilders in the midlands – a beautiful dark ply like Sapele.
The boat is sailed quite regularly and everything that’s needed for racing is there. The ratchet, swivel and jammer for the mainsail is all Harken. All the main sail controls have ball blocks. Main, genoa and spinnaker cleats are Harken. Shrouds are rod rigging. Nice Ullman main and genoa in good club racing condition. Hood spinnaker still works but is now quite soft rather than crinkly.
The boat comes on a really sturdy trailer running on Mini wheels. The trolley is really nice and is made from stainless steel. It also has a mast-up breathable cover that was custom-made by Suggitt Sails.
The decks and inner tanks are really nice and just need a small amount of maintenance to make them perfect.
The woodwork in the cockpit could do with some attention and the paint job on the Hull is quite tired. However, this is all reflected in the indicated price.
The boat is in the dinghy park at Bartley Sailing Club near Birmingham.
